Fire Extinguishers

There are many classes, sizes and types of fire extinguishers. Agents used can include Dry Chemical, Carbon Dioxide, Pressurized Water/Foam, Dry Powder, Wet Chemical and Clean Agent. FAQ 

How often does my fire extinguisher require servicing?

ABC Fire extinguishers are required to be inspected once a year but each unit will require servicing every six years from the date of production on the bottle. This will alternate between a six year maintenance test and a hydrostatic test. k-class and Co2 fire extinguishers are required to be hydrostatic tested every five years.
